While not officially a part of the Supreme Secretariat, the Supreme Subordinate Secretaries are an invaluable aid and assistant to the Supreme Secretary. Their nations, by far, boast the largest contingency of Knights of St. John in the world. These valiant knights act as intermediaries between the Supreme Secretariat and the many Grand Commanderies under their respective spheres of responsibility. Their assistance creates a direct and safe line of communication between the Supreme Commandery and our brothers in their respective Supreme Subordinate Commanderies.
