Fourth Sunday of Easter
Finding of The Holy Cross
May 3, A.D. 2026
Many of our brother Knights of St. John received the Second and Third Degrees of Our Noble Order. Holy Mass was offered by Reverend Grzegorz Tokarski, Pastor of Sweetheart of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Detroit, Michigan.
Men from Commandaries 239 and 973 within the Detroit Regiment were exemplified. Past-Supreme President, General Dale Gossiaux, led the ritual after Holy Mass. After Reverend Tokarski laid hands on all the men, Reverend Deacon Joseph Lennon led all in attendance in Eucharistic Adoration, including praying and chanting The Divine Mercy Chaplet.
Any Knight in good standing who has been in the Order for a year or more is eligible for the Second and Three Degree. The purpose of obtaining this degree is to further understand and install the virtues of unity and charity in the daily lives as Catholic men. These lessons serve us not only to be better men to each other, our loved ones, and everyone we encounter on earth, but also in our on-going mission to be steadfast knights of Our King, Jesus the Christ and of His Church.
Please pray for the men listed below and for Our Noble Order:
Respectfully Submitted:
Maj. Gen. Anthony J. Ryan
President, Commandery 973
President, Supreme Subordinate Commandery USA
